Job Description

Are you a lawyer with a passion for helping hurting people? If you are, you will fit well with the team at the Peck Law Firm.

Are you an experienced family lawyer attorney who is looking for more compensation and an opportunity to become a partner in an established law firm? If your answer is “yes,” you should apply.

Alternatively, are you an experienced family law attorney, who is tired of trying to generate clients and do the administrative/business work of operating a law firm? If you “just want to practice law,” this is the place for you.

The attorneys at the Peck Law Firm are not expected to generate new clients or market their services. In this job, you will have no responsibility for generating new clients or doing intake with prospective clients. Our unique digital marketing system does that work for you.

Instead, you will devote yourself to doing what you enjoy and do best – helping hurting people, who are facing difficult divorce, child custody, alimony, property division, and other complex family law problems.

This position offers a competitive starting salary and the opportunity to convert to a compensation plan where you will be paid a significant percentage of the funds collected from your work.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications at a minimum:

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• South Carolina license to practice law.
• Three years of family law experience (preferred). Please do not apply if you are a recent law school graduate. We are recruiting only for an experienced lawyer, who can assume immediate responsibility for clients and work with minimal supervision.
• Significant courtroom experience.
• No suspensions or disciplinary history.
