Plaintiff’s litigation firm looking for an experienced litigation paralegal at its Mount Pleasant location. Successful candidates must possess knowledge in all aspects of the litigation process, including case management, discovery, motion practice, pleadings, document review and analysis, deposition preparation and transcript summarization, trial preparation, and federal and state court rules, etc. Additional duties will include some phone coverage and occasional travel for 2-3 day site inspections.
Candidates must be professional, motivated, detail oriented, and organized. Candidates should be expert multi-taskers with the ability to handle large files and manage multiple deadlines and priorities. Candidates must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills, as our paralegals must communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and Courts and are called on to draft substantive discovery, legal pleadings, and correspondence.
Qualified candidates should have a four-year degree and/or certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program. However, candidates with substantial paralegal experience will also be considered.
